While Machí was working in Texas he received a call from TVE1, the most important public television network in Spain, offering him appear on the Christmas Eve 2016 special on Spanish Television where he painted a portrait of the singer star Miguel Bosé.

After Bosé saw the painting he said;
“I had never recognized so much in a portrait since I was portrayed once when I was 6”.
