BIO

Jordi Machí (Algemesí, 1983) is a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Since the beginning of his career, he has developed a strong international presence through residencies in Venice and São Paulo, exhibiting across Europe, Brazil, Lebanon, the United States, Mexico, and Asia.

His trajectory has led him to collaborate with brands, collectors, and well-known Hollywood personalities, consolidating his name among the Spanish contemporary artists with the greatest international projection.

Machí’s work moves between the perverse and the ironic, reinterpreting popular culture through an emotional and critical lens. Inspired by figures such as Egon Schiele and Norman Rockwell —and by the cartoons of his childhood— he gives life and sarcasm to icons like Popeye or Tom & Jerry, placing them in settings that subvert their original innocence.

He currently lives between Madrid and Valencia, devoted entirely to his passion: art.
